Active in residential, hospitality, leisure and retail. After the first projects it put the water optimisation of its entire hotel portfolio in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium and Greece in our hands, until we became its supplier for everything water-related. Work at terminal points adds up to more than 30,353 fittings installed.

The leading leisure hotel investor in southern Europe

More than 22,000 rooms across the main tourist destinations in Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal, with a diversified portfolio of 73 hotels held under lease and under management, mostly four-star. We have optimised over 50 hotels in its portfolio as part of its BREEAM certification process, and are still working on more than 20 assets.

Water saving

Leading care home operator · 86,000 beds across 12 countries

A pilot project was run at one of the homes, cutting consumption at taps, showers, cisterns and urinals. Given the results, they asked to scale the project across the whole portfolio. The energy saving corresponds to the effort of heating the water that is no longer consumed.

Recovery and reuse

European leader in chilled juices and plant-based drinks

We analysed the water cycle of its production process and concluded that the effluent from packaging washing —PET bottles— could be recovered. We designed a process to recover 100 % of that effluent and reuse it in the plant's evaporative cooling circuits, with catalytic decomposition of the hydrogen peroxide. The project resulted in a patent of our own.

Water treatment

Analysis and implementation of the Calcat® solution in the chiller cooling towers of the thermal plant's cooling circuit. Beyond the water saving, antiscalants were eliminated altogether —with the resulting saving and the end of blowdown discharge—, water asepsis was brought under control against aerobic bacteria and legionella, and the circuit was left free of corrosion.
